Jack Cebu Lechon (JCL) started its first Lechon Facility and Catering in the City of Pacoima in January 2010 and put up a new branch in Las Vegas last June 2023. JCL is now expanding its Cebu lechon business in some states here in the US, by partnering with Filipino Restaurant owners and also to enterprising entrepreneurs who want to independently own or operate a business.
This venture will help existing restaurant owners augment their operating income because it will complement with their existing operations that will generate additional profit without necessarily increasing their rent and help maximize the utilization of its manpower.
As to interested entrepreneurs, this venture would be their opportunity to start a business which will generate them income without the hassle of starting a business from scratch. It is a turn-key arrangement, whereby JCL will provide the customized NSF oven designed primarily for lechon cooking, its accessories as well as its installation. JCL will also teach them the techniques in preparing and cooking lechon (whole pork and pork belly) using our secret spices and ingredients, with the end view of producing crunchy, juicy and flavorful Cebu lechon. Cebu Lechon is known as the best lechon in the world as claimed by the late Chef Anthony Bourdain who went to Cebu City to validate its taste. By the way, the roots of the Founder of JCL are from Liloan, Cebu City, Philippines who had gained his expertise on this field after being exposed and trained in the lechon business at the age of 15.
The Founder of Jack Cebu Lechon who has NSF certified oven has a goal to share his knowledge, skills and expertise to the food industry in different states in the US and be able to bring the authentic Cebu Lechon to the various events throughout the US. He will also provide secret ingredients to make sauce for lechon which can compete in taste, if not better, than the leading Filipino lechon sauce brand in the Philippines. He established a factory in Davao City. Philippines in the year 2000, that makes lechon sauce, banana ketchup, soy sauce and vinegar that competed with the taste of the leading brands. His products were exported to the US before the pandemic under the brand Mommy.
The business experience and exposures he had gained will boost confidence to his business partners on the quality of JCL Cebu lechon and its sauce as well as the viability of the business.
